Located in Tocantins, the destination comprises the cities of Novo Concordo, São Félix, Mateiros, Ponte Alta, Lizarda, Lagoa do Tocantins and Santa Tereza. The Jalapão State Park, located in the extensive region, borders Piauí, Maranhão and Bahia, and is just one of more than eight conservation units that form the Jalapão territory. WHEN TO GO
It depends on what you are looking for.
The drought occurs from May onwards. As the months go by, temperatures rise and the air becomes drier. Despite the intense heat, this is when we have the most translucent waters. From November onwards, the rainy season begins, lasting until April, but which does not usually affect tours. Ideal for exploring the region through hiking and discovering incredible mountains and mountains.
